HISTORICAL TROLLEY TOUR OF LORDSHIP - JUNE 13, 2009
LORDSHIP HISTORY WEBSITE:
Come celebrate the 370th anniversary of Lordship with a day of seeing the sights and sounds of our unique community. For the first time in years, the Old Gun Club facility and the Stratford Lighthouse will be open on Stratford Point. How many of you have seen the insides of the only remaining barracks building left in Lordship at the Civil Air Patrol facility? Tours of the three Lordship Churches, the two Lordship Firehouses, an antique car show, the Lordship Fathers Clubhouse and several other lesser known highlights that you pass by everyday without knowing the history of the area. Our main objective of this tour is to celebrate the uniqueness of Lordship and get the different organizations to come together for a common cause and get to know each other. As you spend the day during the tour, we hope that you will become interested in one or more of the hosting groups and become involved.
